- Is your Credit Agreement Unenforceable?
Has your mortgage, loan, credit card or insurance credit agreement violated the terms of the Consumer Credit Act 2006? Has the interest rate been calculated correctly? Have unfair or hidden charges been levied against you? Have you been incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance?
You may not know the answer to the above questions, all of which define whether the credit agreement you have entered into is legally enforceable. At Redress Claims we specialise in finding the answers to these questions through our exhaustive 'Claims Verification' process. Our efficient and professional legal staff will individually and rigorously assess your specific circumstances to confirm the legitimacy of your claim.
- What agreements are covered by Redress Claims?
Redress Claims can proceed with a claim against any credit agreement, governed by the Consumer Credit Act 2006, so long as the amount concerned is between £2,000 and £25,000. The agreement must also have been initiated before April 2007. The following policies are covered within our review:
- Consolidation Loan
- Car Loan
- Credit Card
- Personal Loan
- Credit Cards
We are in the process at progressing our services to mortgages and will have information on this very soon
- I dont have my paper-work, will I still be able to claim?
To effectively and efficiently process your compensation claim, Redress Claims will require original paperwork, sourced from the relevant credit agreement provider. For this reason, a claim can be pursued, even if you possess none of the paperwork relating to your agreement.
- What if the audit establishes I do not have a claim, will I get a refund?
Yes, we provide a refund service, if our solicitors find there are no breaches relating to your case.
- During a claim against my provider, Can I continue to use my credit card?
Redress Claims would advise that, once you have granted authority to act on your behalf in such manner, that you make no further transactions on your credit card. Continued usage may have a detrimental effect on the successful completion of your claim.
- Should I continue making my monthly payments?
Yes, you should continue to keep upto date with your payment responsibilities until we or one of our nominated soliciotrs advised you otherwise. Aside from the circumstances outlined regarding the continuation of payment, there is no action or process undertaken by Redress Claims that will adversely affect your ability to obtain credit from lenders or impact upon your credit rating in any way.
- Will I have to discuss this with the Creditor?
Redress Claims will process ALL aspects of your compensation claim independently, once we have obtained your authorisation to do so. You will not be required to have discussion, or otherwise be in contact with the specific creditor in any way.
- Will I be able to receive a refund of some or all my or all my previous loan repayments?
If you have been mis-sold a payment protection policy then you are likely to recevie compensation to redress your financial situation. With unenforceable credit agreements your obligation to repay the outstanding debt is removed. In such circumstances your are not likely to recevie additional compensation.
- Will I be responsible for solicitor costs?
Redress Claims employs a completely transparent cost structure, as detailed above. There are no hidden fees or supplementary charges and all solicitors' costs will be absorbed by Redress Claims, or in the case of a success claim, recovered from the lender. Our soliciotrs operate on a no win no fee basis so you will not be liable for any associated soliciotrs costs.
